In Celebration of Arbor Day - January 2008
It is always a joyful occasion when we get to share with our community - but joy can be bittersweet. The occasion was Arbor Day 2008 and the Palm Coast Garden Club planted a tree on the grounds of the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House to honor those members they lost in 2007. The tree planting ceremony included readings by the students of Ms. Tilden's class at Wadsworth Elementary School. The family and friends of those being memorialized were there to share in the celebration and spoke about how this Arbor Day planting means so much to them.
